After 30 years of serving our region, the time has come to close Top Dog Productions.
This decision has not been made lightly or hastily. In fact, it has been the result of nearly five years of thoughtful consideration. Over this time, we have continuously adapted our multifaceted production company in stages, all with the goal of better achieving our personal objectives. At the same time, we have strived to improve how we serve our clients, focusing on providing a more personalized experience. We started first by focusing on the local Johnstown market only, then later narrowing our efforts to our co-owned facility, Ace’s as much as possible. Still with those adjustments, we still found ourselves in a struggle to meet our personal objectives. Now, in 2025, we have made the difficult decision to close the company and take a different path forward.
The reason for this change is simple, though not easy: time. In an entertainment and production industry where you are always on the go, constantly saying “yes” to the next request, there is little room for personal time. You find yourself missing precious moments with family and friends. We have made the choice to prioritize what matters most. We are pursuing new professional opportunities that will allow us to meet these goals more efficiently.
As we close this chapter, we celebrate the hundreds of happy couples and families we’ve had the privilege of working with. We are deeply grateful to the countless local businesses that trusted us with their brands and identities. We will always remember the joy of every event—the smiles, the laughter, the dance moves, the lighting cues, the music mixes, the photo booth poses, the speeches, skits, and so so so much more. We were there for it all, and we cherish every moment.
Thank you for trusting us for 30 wonderful years. It has been an incredible journey, and we’ll forever hold these memories close.

WHAT IS HAPPENING NEXT …
Dustin and Dustin remain best friends just like always. This business closure is no reflection on their long-term friendship. This must be made clear!
Both have decided to retire from the DJ/MC industry, however they always will remember their roots. Their passion for the music, sound, and lighting technology will remain a part of them, no matter where life takes them.
Dustin Coval will continue to provide Sound Reinforcement / Audio Visual Services to local functions under a new privately owned entity. DJ/MC & Photo Booth Services are not planned to be offered in Dustin’s new venture after 2025. During that transition, he will oversee the remaining contracted events and produce new functions under a hybrid environment of his new venture and “Top Dog Productions” as the remaining obligations are completed.

Dustin Greene will continue his co-ownership and oversight of the event venue Ace’s and work as the venue’s Event Coordinator and Banquet Manager. Dustin will not be a part of day-to-day operations of Top Dog Productions, participate in remaining functions, nor will he be a part of Dustin Coval’s new venture. He will however be available to assist in the closure transition over the next year, if required.

I HAVE AN EVENT RESERVED FOR 2025
All remaining contracted events for 2025 WILL BE FULFILLED. Those events would have been notified via email on or before March 15, 2025, of this announcement along with detailed information. NO events were contracted by Top Dog Productions for 2026+. If you are interested in reserving services for an event in 2026 you will need to reserve the function via Dustin Coval’s new entity (to be named at a later date).

I AM LOOKING FOR EVENT PHOTOS / VIDEO / PHOTO BOOTH IMAGES.
Effective April 30, 2025, our online website hosting photos and video content will be decommissioned. However, all data will remain in our possession. We will make this content available for at least the next two years. Afterward, no guarantees can be made, however we will do our best to keep your content protected on our backup cloud and data storage points for as long as we can. Co-owner of Top Dog Productions, Dustin Greene has always taken great pride in archiving the photo and video content for the company. We currently maintain a collection of footage from most events dating back to 1999. We plan to keep these archives for our personal historical records and memories. While we cannot guarantee the availability of this data, if you’re ever looking for a photo or video, don’t hesitate to reach out to Dustin Coval or Dustin Greene in the future.

If you were provided a custom photo booth link (on the back of a photo booth strip) it will no longer work, however you can locate your photo album by visiting our photo server, selecting “Photography Galleries,” and then find your event by year and date.
If you were provided a video link to our Vimeo video server, it will still work as normal through April 30, 2025. There is no available option for you to find your video content on your own. You will need to contact us for your video link if you require it.
