Top Dog Productions is a locally owned and operated Entertainment / Event Production company, based in Johnstown, PA. In addition to the Johnstown area we provide our professional services to Cambria, Bedford, Blair, Indiana, Somerset & Westmoreland Counties. Top Dog Productions has been a part of the entertainment and production industry since 1995 and has the experience that counts when coordinating, producing and performing at weddings, corporate events, school dances, and private events. As Top Dog Productions grew as a company over the years we introduced Multimedia options for clients in the late 90’s and in the mid 2000’s Lighting Design and Photo Booth Services became available for clients. Top Dog Productions is constantly growing to meet the needs of all our clients and is always up to date on the newest equipment, music, programs, and services. This helps us provide the best quality services for our clients for their special events from start to finish.

Dustin, a 1996 graduate of The Greater Johnstown Career And Technology Center, founded Top Dog Productions in May Of 1995.   Dustin started out in the DJ business by doing backyard parties and small taverns. A couple years later Dustin made the decision to become more serious about being a Professional DJ and treat the business as a career and not a hobby. In order to gain more experience, Dustin started working as an assistant for a few local DJ’s. Throughout the years, (the former) “Top Dog Disc Jockeys” continued its successful journey as an interactive “DJ service” but due to ever-changing technology and client demands, Dustin re-launched the company as the now known “Top Dog Productions, Inc.” The company now had a new business model & offered more services including small-scale sound reinforcement, A/V services, lighting design, etc. And would continue to grow & expand even more.

Now In 2015, Dustin, alongside business partner, Dustin Greene (and of course a dedicated staff) continue to bring Top Dog Productions to a whole new level. When not “Spinnin’ the tunes”, fine-tuning his audio system for the next event, or transforming a venue into someone’s dream wedding reception, Dustin can be found networking with other experts in the field,  researching the newest trend in the industry, & attending several DJ conventions & seminars in order to better himself and the business. Some of his other duties include all bookwork in the office, and design and maintenance on equipment setups.  Dustin is also very knowledgeable in not only the business aspects of the industry, but also the technical end as well. Other disc jockeys and musicians often look at Dustin as the local “Gear Guru”, seeking advice before making their own equipment purchases.

Dustin Greene is a Johnstown native, born and raised in the community. A 2004 graduate of Richland High School, he played a vital role in many activities throughout his high school career. Passionate about theatre and production, he was the Student Tech Director for his high school theatrical events and other productions on and off stage. During this time, he was also already playing an active role at Top Dog Productions. Dustin joined Top Dog Productions in 1998, at the age of 13. Working more and more events, Dustin was a “mover and shaker” in taking the company to new heights in the early 2000’s. After high school Dustin studied Graphic Design & Multimedia at The Pittsburgh Technical Institute. In addition Dustin also studied business management at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. While attending college, he continued working events with our growing company. Dustin is the company’s head MC/Entertainer and spokesperson. He not only “energizes” the crowd as a Master Of Ceremonies, but is also very skilled behind the controls. Dustin is the coordinator and planner for all of our events. Dustin’s other responsibilities include all advertising & marketing materials within the company.
